LIDAR Workshop

On May 9 th, 2006 at the Governor’s Hurricane Conference in Fort Lauderdale, a GIS workshop was organized by Glenn Margoles of Broward Emergency Management. The IHRC presented the LIDAR portion of the workshop and the files below are provided for attendees to download and use for future work involving LIDAR.

Windstorm Simulation and Modeling Project
LIDAR Workshop

On November 15, 2002 in the FIU Green Library, GIS Laboratory located on University Park Campus a LIDAR Workshop was held by the IHRC. Invited participants included representatives from Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and Manatee Counties involved in working with LIDAR data supplied by the Windstorm Simulation and Modeling project. All attendees were proficient in the ESRI GIS Suite including ArcView Spatial Analyst and 3-D Analyst.
